Psychological Therapy
Children and young people may experience mental health challenges that affect their daily lives.
At Acorn Psychological Services, we adopt a comprehensive approach, recognising the influence of the child's surrounding environment. This includes considering family dynamics, educational settings, social circumstances and developmental history etc.
In the initial appointment, we will collaboratively identify the main challenges and establish an appropriate therapeutic approach tailored to the individual's goals. Each session lasts for 50 minutes.
Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. We utilise a range of therapeutic approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
- Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT),
- mindfulness techniques,
- and Psychotherapy, to support emotional well-being and mental health.
We offer both virtual and in-person therapy sessions to accommodate different needs.
